Over stock and stone past waterfalls, you will feel the power of nature and enjoy culinary highlights from the region at one of the 45 alpine huts with breathtaking views. Whether leisurely or challenging, enjoy the unspoiled nature.

Our Hoamat apartments located in the center of St. Margarethen im Lungau each feature a large living space with a sofa, a fully equipped kitchen, and plenty of space and retreat opportunities. You can find all daily necessities and regional specialties on approximately 200m² on the ground floor in our grocery store.

Bike holiday in the Salzburg Lungau
Numerous kilometers of finest bike trails are at your feet. Our Bikers Paradise at the highest level offers you routes on forest and meadow paths or breathtaking mountain pass routes for road bikes. Start right behind our house towards the Bonner Hütte in the direction of Katschberg (about 7 km and 700 meters of elevation gain). Casual downhill sections and sporty ascents will ignite your desire for more. In the evening, you can lock your bike in our bike room and find tools for minor repairs. In our neighborhood, you will find everything related to biking and bikes for rent.

From the North: Motorway Munich-Salzburg, A10/Tauernautobahn towards Villach until exit St. Michael, then on B99 Katschbergstraße until St. Margarethen and directly to the Katschberg ski area or motorway (A10) until exit Eben, then on B99 over Radstadt, Obertauern, and Mauterndorf to St. Margarethen
From the East: Vienna - Semmeringtunnel- Leoben- Unzmarkt- Scheifling- Murau- Tamsweg- St. Margarethen or Vienna-A1 Westautobahn until Salzburg and then continue as above.
From the South: Autostrada: Udine- Tarvisio- Villach, A10/ Tauernautobahn towards Germany/ Salzburg- Katschbergtunnel- exit St. Michael – about 6 km to St. Margarethen
