Where is the Hoamat House located?
The Hoamat House is located right in the center of St. Margarethen in the Salzburger Lungau – at the ski area Aineck-Katschberg.
How close is the Hoamat House to the ski lift?
The valley station is just a few minutes' walk away. This way, you head straight from the apartment to enjoy skiing at the Hoamat House.
Is the Hoamat House also a good choice in summer?
Yes, the Lungau region is considered one of the most beautiful hiking areas in Austria. Right at the door, numerous hiking and biking routes start.
What makes the Hoamat House special?
A vacation home between alpine charm and urban design – down-to-earth, stylish, and with plenty of space to arrive and feel comfortable.

What apartments are available in Hoamat House?
The Hoamat House offers modern, fully equipped holiday apartments in different sizes – ideal for couples, families, and groups.
What amenities do the apartments have?
The apartments feature spacious living areas, fully equipped kitchens, modern bathrooms, and balconies or terraces. Plenty of wood and warm materials create a cozy atmosphere.
Is there a ski room in the Hoamat House?
Yes, at the Hoamat House you have access to a ski and drying room – perfect for your equipment after a day on the slopes.
What extras are offered?
The services include free Wi-Fi, parking spaces, a ski and drying room, bicycle room, lounge, terrace, as well as the LungauCard with many discounts.
Arrival & Stay
How does Check-in and Check-out work?
Check-in is possible on the day of arrival between 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM. An earlier or later arrival is possible by arrangement. On the day of departure, we ask you to vacate the apartment by 9:30 AM.
Are there parking possibilities?
Yes, free parking spaces are available directly at Hoamat House.
Are pets allowed?
Yes, pets are warmly welcomed at Hoamat House. Please let us know briefly before your arrival – we are happy to provide food bowls. A one-time fee of 49 € per stay applies for the final cleaning.
How high is the local tax?
The local tax amounts to €2.30 per person per day. Children under 15 years are exempt from this.

What can one do in winter in Lungau?
In winter you can ski, snowboard, go cross-country skiing, sledding, or snowshoeing – far away from mass tourism.
What summer activities are available in Lungau?
In summer, you can look forward to hiking, biking, swimming, golfing, paragliding, and many other activities in nature.
How far is the cross-country ski trail?
The cross-country ski trail is located only about 50 meters from the Hoamat House.
Is the Aineck-Katschberg ski resort family-friendly?
Yes, the ski area offers 70 km of slopes, 16 lifts, ski schools, childcare and is ideal for beginners and advanced skiers.

How long is the LungauCard valid?
The LungauCard is valid from May to October during your stay at the Hoamat House apartment.
Is there a shop in the Hoamat House?
Yes, on the ground floor there is a local retailer with a café – perfect for fresh baked goods and everything for daily needs.
