The Hoamat House is located directly in the center of St. Margarethen, at the Aineck-Katschberg ski area, in the heart of the UNESCO Biosphere Park region. Located right in the center of St. Margarethen in the Salzburg Lungau, our new apartments manage to connect the down-to-earth nature of the region with an urban lifestyle, thus providing you with a comfortable setting for your vacation. Modern and exclusive, yet cozy and filled with many traditional elements, Hoamat House is perfect for urban souls who appreciate the authenticity and nature of Austria.
What does it take for a perfect hiking holiday?
Our checklist & packing list for a perfect hiking holiday in our region:
- Sturdy shoes, my recommendation is trail running or trekking shoes
- Hiking poles (recommended for descents)
- Backpack with a volume of at least 35L for 1 person, it should contain:
- Tour planning: pay attention to duration and difficulty level (use our brochures and hiking maps in the entrance area or use our digital holiday companion)
- Check the weather report
- Pick up tips from us, we are happy to help you with your planning
